Week 1..... ~quote keeper~

"Unless i was sure i was going to be the champion, there was no point in trying." Pg.41 this means that she wasn't sure that she would be a winner unless she was really sure about it, and if she wasn't really sure there would be no point.

"It was a lie, but it should've been the truth." Pg.50 This means that she had lied and now she regrets it, and now she wished that she told the truth.

"I wasn't pretty, Nor was I particularly tall." This explains that she always thinks thats shes not pretty and that she she wasn't good enough for anything.

    I hate how Portia has low self esteem. I think at the end of the book she will hopefully get better and realize that everything she did was a lesson learned. =)
