"I drive home thinking about Amy, wishing she lived on her own" pg. 133 i chose this quote because it shows that she cares for her sister.
"When I was home as a teenager I could tell that something was always roiling just under the surface. It was like walking on smoked glass over somethinf awful, like rushing water or lava or snakes" pg 139 i did the quote because she could tell when something wasnt right.
I agree with both quotes because she really does care about her sister and would do anything for her, and the second quote I agree with because she always feels when something wrong is happening.
ReplyDeleteI agree with both quotes as well especially the second parents think kids don't notice when things are fishy but really they do and if you don't fix the problem in a relationship then the kids start to think its normal and take after it.
ReplyDeleteI agree with both quotes. I agree with the first quote because Janine cares about Amy and wants her to live a good and normal life. And then Amy does end up finding a place on her own. I agree with the second quote to because it is true that parents think that kids don't know when things are going wrong. But they do. Kids are really smart in that aspect, especially if they really want to care.
