1)Janine- auther of the book, its from her memories. From her life. She is married to Kurt. Got a breast implant and takes care of Kurts children. She is constintly worring about her weight so she works out a lot.
2)Amie- Janines younger sister. Married and divorsed Jim. Closest sibling to Janine (not in age but they talk about everything). Struggles with her weight.
3)Michael- Dated Janine, Beat her because she said soemthing wrong during a ski trip they took together. But she leaves him.
4) Kurt- Janine marries him after he left his wife for her. Has two kids, he's also a doctor at the hospital they work at. Makes Janine wear revealing clothes.
5)Mike and Claire- Kurts children with her ex-wife. Janines step-children, but she takes care of them as if they were her owen
6) Jim- Amies ex-husband, he use to beat her when he was angry. Couldnt hold down a job. Drank all the time
7) John- Married Janines mother after she divorsed her father. Makes everyone happy. All of her siblings love him as if he was really there father.
