Connector week two

Text to Self: In the book Janine was talking about how she went to the carnival in the spring and how there setting up the tilt-a-whirl and the Himalayas. I love going to the carnival because there are so much fun. It is a time for you and you friends or even family members to hang out and enjoy yourselves. She also talks about all the nasty carnival people by their rides looking at her. I remember when the people at their rides just look at you because they don't want to be there and there screaming inside to help them.

Text to World: During this section Amy has a hard time with her marriage. Many people in the world have a hard time with their marriages. Amy is not the only one. During Amy's marriage Jim her husband would drink. He would constantly loose his job. Which would leave Amy to pay all the bills that her and him should have to pay. That is how some marriages go in this world.

Text to Text: In this book there and a couple people going through a hard time. Janine for example she is going there a hard time because Kurt gets mad at the littlest things. Like coming through the front door when she came home from NYC because her garage door button didn't work. That was a little much. I can relate this book to The Last Lecture. Randy the main character was going through a hard time because he had a cancer that only gave him about 2 - 3 years to live.

  1. I like how in the text to world you related other marriages out in the world to Amy's marriage. Mostly every marriage is going to have some little problem to deal with. In the text to text i agree that this book relates to the last Lecture because Randy explains in his book on how he went through life with cancer and Janine explain her life and everybody in it.

  2. I like how in Text to Text you related this book to The Last Lecture because it's true. And a lot of people get cancer and only have a little while to live. And that's sad. Everyday some people get diagnosed with some kind of cancer. Even if it's curable or not. And their family's are also very devastated. Cancer is very hard on everybody. If it's them, a friend, or a family member.
